A Christmas hamper

When Sandra from our congregation read in the local newspaper of a Sea Mills family who suffered a severe fire in their home, she thought about how important it was that as a local church, we should be involved in providing support and help for the family at this time. Upon encouraging us to act, an offering on a recent Sunday raised over £230 which was used to buy food and gifts for a huge Christmas hamper for the family.

This was delivered to the family by Sandra, Greg, Georgina and Pam last week - they were so grateful for it. Well done Sandra!!

The Nativity Story - out in cinemas this December

In December, a film on the birth of Jesus called The Nativity Story (PG) will be released in UK cinemas. Have a look at the trailer here.

A friend of mine went to a preview of this film yesterday and said that it was excellent.

Watch this space for maybe a church trip to the cinema over the Christmas period!

Baptism photos!

Hi everyone,

It was wonderful to share in the baptism of Aimee and Hannah this morning. Their testimonies spoke so powerfully to us and it was an exciting time. Here are some photos from this morning (including some action shots!)...
